Initial Consultation — £50

Your consultation is with one of our experienced GPs, who will examine your concern, discuss your options, and confirm whether you're suitable for the procedure. The £50 fee is deducted in full from the cost of any procedure you proceed with — so there's no additional charge for the consultation if you go ahead.

Multiple Lesion Discount

If you need more than one skin lesion removed in the same session, we apply a tiered discount to the total cost. This makes it more economical to have several concerns dealt with at once, rather than booking separate appointments. Please discuss this with your doctor during your consultation and they will confirm the discount that applies.

Pricing FAQs

Does the consultation fee get deducted from my procedure cost?
Yes. The £50 consultation fee is deducted in full from the cost of any procedure you go ahead with at Waverley Park. So if your mole removal costs £500, you would only pay £450 on the day of your procedure — provided you consulted with us first.
What if I have the consultation but decide not to proceed?
There's no pressure to proceed after your consultation. If you decide the procedure isn't right for you, the £50 consultation fee is the only charge. You'll leave with a full understanding of your options, and we're happy to answer any further questions.
Are there any additional charges I should know about?
No. Our procedure prices are all-inclusive. They cover local anaesthetic, the procedure itself, dressings, histology as standard, and aftercare. There are no facility fees, surgeon fees charged separately, or any other hidden costs.
Can I get a discount if I need more than one lesion removed?
Yes. If you need more than one skin lesion removed in the same appointment, we apply a tiered discount to the total cost. The exact discount depends on the number and type of lesions. Your GP will confirm the pricing during your consultation.
Is this cheaper than a private hospital or dermatology clinic?
In many cases, yes. Private hospital and dermatology clinic fees often include additional consultant, facility, and anaesthetist charges that are billed separately. At Waverley Park, everything is included in a single, transparent price — and you're treated by an experienced GP in a fully equipped surgical theatre.
Is the procedure available on the NHS?
NHS provision for cosmetic or non-urgent skin lesion removal is very limited and typically requires a GP referral with no guarantee of treatment. Our private service allows you to be seen promptly, without a referral, and to have your concerns addressed to a clinical standard in a comfortable setting.
